This is the culmination of the story of five individuals who have come together, united in their adventurous spirit and ever curious fascination about food.

Drawing on our combined experiences working with food - either directly as a chef, or as the average two-a-penny foodie enthusiast - we are bringing to life our common dream of opening a café featuring a brand which represents a quality product, a high standard of service and a one-of-a-kind experience. That's what The Hatter and the Hare embodies and more!

The café is a 160-seat foodie haven located in the suburb of Bayswater, 30 KMs east of Melbourne CBD and the gateway to the Dandenongs and Yarra Valley. It boasts of two production kitchens - a main kitchen which will serve out hot and cold dishes for breakfast and lunch; and an exposed dedicated patisserie kitchen offering customers a view of how our sweet products are made from scratch and delivered directly to the tables.

If there's anything that sets The Hatter and the Hare apart, it's the high tea parties - filled with colours, tastes and smells that would set your senses on hyperdrive. For Winter 2017, we are taking a break from our high tea offering. We are bringing the high tea in back in Spring 2017, so watch this space for further announcements!
