VEGAN HIGH TEA OVERVIEW
The Hatter & the Hare team has put their heads together to bring us a lavish all-vegan High Tea fare. Featuring a great selection of plant-based savouries and sweets, guests are in for a real treat and will definitely go mad for this one-of-a-kind experience you can only get at the Hatter & the Hare.
Join either the morning or the afternoon session, or be there at both – ‘coz why not? Tag a friend or the whole troupe along to make it a more enjoyable and memorable affair for you!

VEGAN HIGH TEA DETAILS
Date & Session Times
There will be two sessions of Vegan High Tea on the Saturday, the 2nd of November as follows:
- Morning High Tea session: 10am to 12pm
- [SOLD OUT] Afternoon High Tea session: 1pm to 3pm [SOLD OUT]
Bookings
Bookings open on Wednesday, 25th of September via our Online Shop. A minimum of two pax is required for each booking.
Dietary Requirements
This is an All-Vegan High Tea event and caters specifically to vegans and vegetarians. Unfortunately, all other dietary restrictions (e.g. gluten-free, nut-free, etc…) can not be accommodated for this event.
Pricing & Inclusions
The High Tea is priced as follows
- $89 per adult
- $59 for children aged 12 and under
Additional drinks are also available on the day for an additional cost.
If any of the kids you are bringing are happy to share food with you and don’t need their own set, just note this when you make the booking and we would be happy not to charge the fee for the kids who will share the food with the adults.
VEGAN POP-UP DINNER OVERVIEW
Guests will be transported to Thailand as we bring you a very special collaboration with Chef Saruttaya “Na” Lakchai just for World Vegan Day. Treat yourself to an overall sensory experience by joining us on the night of the 2nd of November. Immerse in the rich and exotic tastes of a 5-course dinner featuring authentic Thai dishes presented with a modern twist by Chef Na using only the freshest seasonal ingredients. Stimulate your senses by opting in on the specially-curated vegan wine matching selection by our new friends at Sibling Vegan Grocer & Liquor. With decorations, music and entertainment to suit the occasion, guests are in for a night to remember!

This is an All-Vegan Pop-up Dinner event which specifically caters to vegans and vegetarians. All the dishes included in the 5-course dinner are gluten-free. Apart from that, no other dietary restrictions can be accommodated.

CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS
- Cancellations will be accommodated if we’re given notice of at least 7 days.
- In case you need to cancel your booking and this is made at least 7 days prior to the event, you will receive your refund in the form of a gift voucher
- Cancellations made less than 7 days before the booked date will not be issued a refund.

Welcome to the Hatter & the Hare Pop-up Dinner Episodes! With the aim of showcasing a different talented guest chef for each episode and their food vision into a dinner experience that’s in-tune with the Hatter & the Hare’s mad and creative style, this is a dinner series to watch!
For our World Vegan Day Episode, we are very excited to work with Chef Saruttaya Lakchai (Chef Na)! Guests will feel like they’ve been transported to Thailand for a night of festivities and great food!
CHEF SARUTTAYA LAKCHAI (CHEF NA)
Chef Saruttaya Lakchai (Chef Na) is an internationally-renowned vegan chef and the co-founder of Chef Na’s Plant Based Kitchen. For over ten years, Chef Na has specialised in creating delicious, healthy and innovative vegan dining experiences including the ones hosted at BangPop in South Wharf. She has led the kitchen teams at pretty much all of Melbourne’s iconic vegan joints, such as Vegie Bar, Monk Bodhi Dharma, Shakahari, Loving Hutt and Soul Mama.
Chef Na’s Plant-based Kitchen features products you can use in your kitchen that are free from animal products, cruelty-free, sustainably sourced, organic, non-GMO & MSG-free.
