Mumbai meets Melbourne for a one-night only Father’s Day special event at The Hatter & the Hare!
Treat Dad to a great night of hearty Indian fusion food, fine booze and your company. For one night only, the Hatter & the Hare is teaming up with 3 Idiots Richmond‘s Head Chef and owner, Pratt Bhoir, to present to you a 5-course dinner filled with rich Indian-inspired flavours the whole family can enjoy. Each dish is packed full of traditional and authentic Indian tastes, and prepared and presented in modern Melbourne fashion . Opt in on the booze-pairing option to further enjoy each dish with the perfect matching drink.

Date & Session Times
The Father’s Day pop-up dinner is happening on the 1st of September at 7pm.
Bookings
Bookings open on Tuesday, 6th of August via our Online Shop. A minimum of two pax is required for each booking.
Dietary Requirements
A Vegetarian menu is available for this event. No other dietary restrictions can be accommodated for this pop-up dinner.
Pricing & Inclusions
The dinner is priced as follows
- $144 per adult (5-course dinner + booze pairings)
- $99 per adult (5-course dinner)
- $59 for children aged 12 and under (3-course dinner)
Additional drinks are also available on the day for an additional cost.
If any of the kids you are bringing are happy to share food with you and don’t need their own set, just note this when you make the booking and we would be happy not to charge the fee for the kids who will share the food with the adults.
A minimum of 2pax is required to make a booking. Just to recap, tickets to our Father’s Day Pop-up Event are priced as follows:

THE POP-UP DINNER EPISODES
The Hatter & the Hare is proud and excited to announce a new series of Pop-up Dinner Episodes. With the aim of showcasing a different talented guest chef for each episode and their food vision into a dinner experience that’s in-tune with the Hatter & the Hare’s mad and creative style, this is a dinner series to watch!
For our Father’s Day Episode, we are very excited to work with Chef Pratt Bhoir and the team at 3 Idiots Richmond! It’s going to be an Indian-inspired feast and the festivities would be one to look forward to!
CHEF PRATT BHOIR
Chef Pratt Bhoir is the co-owner and Head Chef at 3 Idiots Richmond. With an impressive track record working in commercial kitchens all over Melbourne in the last 10 years, together with a deeply-rooted Indian heritage, Pratt brings a unique style that beautifully integrates modern culinary techniques with traditional Indian flavours.
3 IDIOTS RICHMOND
3 Idiots is a modern Indian Restaurant in Richmond, VIC run by two passionate Chefs Satt and Pratt. The menu and decor is inspired by the city of Mumbai, where the two grew up and hold close to their hearts. Having worked as Chefs in contemporary kitchens in Melbourne, their seasonal menu showcases traditional Mumbai fare with a modern twist.
