On Sunday, the 12th of May, we welcomed guests to the 3 seatings of our very special Mother’s Day High Tea event. Our Events team decked the place out to give our guests an impression that they’re enjoying High Tea up above the clouds on a Hot Air balloon ride!
Our team pulled out all stops even managing to add the extra effect from a smoke machine. It was extravagant. It was spectacular. It was magical.
The main kitchen pastry teams spent so many hours prepping all the lovely food for over 500 guests. It was quite a feast for the senses as everyone enjoyed the scones, the savoury and sweets selections and the overflowing drinks.
To make it a bit more extra special, all the mums who attended the High Tea sessions received a gift hamper filled with THATH cookies, a kokedama, a candle and pouch.
We couldn’t ask for the event to go any better and we were excited to see all the smiling faces enjoying the company of their families and friends, while partaking in the High Tea. Our hearts were full and floating up in the clouds all day long and for many days afterwards.
This affair is an event to top, and we’re taking on the challenge for next year’s Mother’s Day event!
