A Most Wonderful Mother’s Day High Tea
On Sunday the 9th of May, in our Wonderland that is The Hatter & The Hare, we hosted the greatest Mother’s Day High Tea we have seen yet. This most special regency-themed, Bridgerton-inspired event was certainly one to be loved by all, and indeed it was truly adored. Having recently redecorated our beautiful venue into a regency-themed, grand dining venue, our enchanting atmosphere complemented the High Tea wonderfully.
From early in the day, our ever-creative kitchen teams were working their magic to craft a most divine menu presenting a selection of hot and cold savoury items. Simultaneously, our talented pastry team were busy preparing beautiful house-made scones served with our very own Strawberry Rhubarb Jam, followed by a detailed selection of sweet desserts and fresh fruit with chocolate dipping sauce. With free-flowing sparkling wine, Bridgerton-themed cocktails, and complimentary beverages, there was certainly plenty to indulge in. What a lavish menu this was!
Adorned with chandeliers, floral displays featuring hydrangeas and wisteria of lovely violet and blue colours, and damask wallpaper patterns, our venue was perfect for the occasion. Guests were welcome to take fun photographs with our Pic-Cha-Booth amongst our grand upholstered furniture and glistening chandeliers, whilst enjoying the live music provided by the lovely Four Seasons String Quartet.
To top off our wonderful High Tea session, all mothers received a complimentary flower biscuit bouquet to take home and enjoy with their families. It was truly fabulous and rewarding to witness the joy and excitement had by our guests this Mother’s Day. We would like to thank all who attended.
