Spring is such a magical season, bringing with it longer days, warmer weather, and gorgeous blooms. It’s impossible not to be in a merry mood when September rolls around!

And whilst the natural world fills us with wonder, we have plenty of newness happening at the Hatter and the Hare to be marveled by, too. For starters, we’ve introduced some brand new Cakes and Pastries to our dessert department: dessert lovers, rejoice!

Taking inspiration from pretty blossoms poking through the earth as well as the abundance of produce coming into season, our pastry team expertly wove these fresh new flavours into exquisite combinations. Let your senses take over as each bite reveals citrus notes, berry accents, and tropical fruit hints.

Individual cakes new releases:

Making a debut this season are 10 new desserts, each skillfully constructed into edible art pieces. With options ranging from fruity to creamy to tangy, there is one to suit every palate.

Pastries new releases:

Let each bite turn into an experience with pastries so good they have nothing to envy to those you’d find in a Patisserie in Paris. Who needs to travel when you have the best croissants, pain au chocolat and canele right at your doorstep!

Rolleo: a THATH original

Our talented pastry team created this fun and delicious treat for the spring season.

Think of a vanilla slice but in a cylindrical shape, which means you get all the creamy deliciousness and none of the mess!

Currently available we have the Lemon Meringue Rolleo, a perfect balance of tangy and sweet enveloped in flaky pastry.

      Hi Anthea, yes you can 🙂 We are open for takeaway from 8am to 3pm every day. If you don’t live within 5km from our cafe, we can deliver to any suburb within 25km from Bayswater. Cheers!
