For all Fridays of October, the team at the Hatter & the Hare is bringing you a fantastic dining experience you can enjoy at home. Inspired by the original Bavarian festival, OktoberFeasts is all about enjoying great food best had with a nice beer. Each week features a new menu by the THATH team, so this one's going to be one to watch all month long!
OVERVIEW
This week’s OktoberFeast is all beefed up to be a spectacular meal! With a main of Rindergulasch served with Sauerkraut & Bratwurst Balls, our house made Rye bread, and finished off with a Strauben, you’ll be wanting seconds and probably thirds before the night is finished.
PRE-ORDERS
You can start placing your pre-orders for this week’s OktoberFeast set on Tuesday, October 6th from 3:30pm onwards. You don’t want to miss out on a set for this dinner, so set those alarms!
PICK-UP & DELIVERIES
All OktoberFeast sets will be ready for pick-up and deliveries on Friday, October 9th between 11am and 3pm. Heating instructions will be included so you’re able to enjoy your meals as if we’ve just set them down on your tables ourselves.
DIETARY REQUIREMENTS
Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate any dietary restrictions for this dinner. Please read the menu carefully before purchasing your dinner sets.

Our OktoberFeasts are available in either a set for 2 or 4 and are priced as follows:
- Set for 2: $65
- Set for 4: $105

OKTOBERFEAST: HAIL TO THE BEEF MENU
Rindergulasch
A thick beef stew cooked in Bavarian lager with potatoes, carrots, herbs & spices (contains WHEAT/GLUTEN, ONION & GARLIC)
Sauerkraut & Bratwurst Balls
Deep-fried balls made of sauerkraut, bratwurst sausage and corned beef. Served with honey mustard dipping sauce (contains WHEAT/GLUTEN, ONION & GARLIC)
Sourdough Rye Bread
With its earthy and subtly sweet flavours, our house made Rye bread will go really well with the Rindergulasch (contains WHEAT/GLUTEN)
Strauben
A Bavarian favourite and a predecessor of the funnel cake. Served with Cranberry Ripple Ice Cream (contains WHEAT/GLUTEN, EGG & DAIRY. Ice Cream also contains GELATIN)
