For all Fridays of October, the team at the Hatter & the Hare is bringing you a fantastic dining experience you can enjoy at home. Inspired by the original Bavarian festival, OktoberFeasts is all about enjoying great food best had with a nice beer. Each week features a new menu by the THATH team, so this one's going to be one to watch all month long!
OVERVIEW
Lamb takes centerstage on our next instalment of OktoberFeasts! You will be asking for second servings or more when you dig into this magnificent dinner of Braised Lamb Shanks, Flamkuchen, Mandelsichel and Bavarian Cream Doughnuts.
PRE-ORDERS
You can start placing your pre-orders for this week’s OktoberFeast set on Tuesday, October 13th from 3:30pm onwards. You don’t want to miss out on a set for this dinner, so set those alarms!
PICK-UP & DELIVERIES
All OktoberFeast sets will be ready for pick-up and deliveries on Friday, October 16th between 11am and 3pm. Delivery is available for all postcodes within 25km driving distance from the café. Complimentary drinks and heating instructions will be included in all the dinner bags.
DIETARY REQUIREMENTS
Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate any dietary restrictions for this dinner. Please read the menu carefully before purchasing your dinner sets.

Our OktoberFeasts are available in either a set for 2 or 4 and are priced as follows:
- Set for 2: $65
- Set for 4: $105
INCLUSIONS
Each set will come with the full meal, heating instructions and complimentary non-alcoholic beer.

Lamb Shanks
Polish Porter-braised Lamb Shanks and vegetables. Served with Mashed Potatoes (contains WHEAT/GLUTEN, DAIRY, ONION & GARLIC)
Flamkuchen
Thin-crust “white pizza” topped with sour cream, thinly-sliced onions and smoked bacon lardons (contains WHEAT/GLUTEN, DAIRY, ONION & GARLIC)
Bavarian Cream Doughnuts
Doughnuts filled with a vanilla bean pastry cream and dusted with sugar (contains WHEAT/GLUTEN, EGG, DAIRY & GELATINE)
Mandelsichel
Almond-flavoured German Shortbread Cookies shaped as a crescent moon, dusted with confectioner’s sugar (contains WHEAT/GLUTEN, NUTS, EGG & DAIRY)
